Supplies

 

ALL SUPPLIES, BAGS, AND LUNCH BOXES, SHOULD BE CLEARLY LABELED WITH YOUR CHILD’S FIRST AND LAST NAME.  Any items not labeled will be labeled/written on by me.

 

Daily school bag with supplies- Each day your child should bring a bag to school, containing only: 

-Lunchbox with child’s lunch and snack for that day

-Bottle(s) of formula or milk needed for the day- please send extra breast milk or formula in case anything spills.

-Sippy cup with milk (optional), sippy cups for water will be provided by me and kept here.

-Diapers for the day, at least 4. 

-2 changes of clothes, Infants should bring 3 or 4 changes.

-Potty training needs- extra underwear, pull-ups, extra set of socks & shoes, etc.

-Infant needs- cloth bibs, etc.

-Pacifier if needed - please provide 2 for me to keep here.

-Shoes- either on child’s feet or in the bag, no shoes needed for children who do not crawl yet.

-Swimsuit and Swim Diapers- warm months only.

 

Items provided by me-

-Bibs for meals

-Silverware

-Plates/ Bowls

-Sippy cups for water

-Towels for water days

-Pack-N-Plays

-Sheets for pack n play

 

Items to leave here-

-Bug Spray- if desired

-Sunscreen- if desired

-Diaper rash cream

-Wipes

- 2 Pacifiers if uses

 

 

Wipes- Each family is to bring 2  packs of wipes/month for each child in care. I combine all the wipes and use them as needed.

   

Diapers- Please send disposable diapers only, that close at the sides. No pull-up style diapers that don't attach at the sides.

No cloth diapers please.

I will grab a couple of extra diapers from their bag from time to time.  That way I can keep some of their diapers here as back ups.  If you notice I haven't taken any diapers out of their bag for the day, it just means I forgot and just used the ones already in their diaper cubby.

 

Pull-Ups- Please only send pull-Ups that reattach at the side.  No Pull-Ups with sides that must be torn apart and don't have the reattach able tabs.

Formula- Please pre mix formula bottles and send in the amount of bottles they will need while with me.  Please send in some back up powdered formula in a labeled zip lock bag or small container.  

 

Breast Milk- Bottles of breast milk should be sent in each day.  Just send in the bottles I will be feeding them while with me. Please send in a couple of frozen bags of breast milk as back up.  Any extra bags of breast milk must be labeled with first & last name of the child, and the date pumped.

 

Nap Items- 

Children under 2 yrs. old will sleep in a pack n play. Children over 2 yrs. old will sleep on a nap mat.

All nap items will be left here, and washed at the end of each week, or as needed by me.

 

Children under 2 yrs. old- I will provide a sheet for use in a pack-n-play.

 

Children over 2 yrs. old- Please provide a plastic nap mat, 1” thick- the red/blue classic one and a roll-up fabric nap mat with attached blanket.  Only 1" thick nap mats can be used, the thicker ones are made too large for our nap mat storage area.

 

 

Toys- Please refrain from letting your child bring toys from home. I know this is sometimes hard. But, it's often harder to keep the other children away from the new toy and to get the child to share their special item from home.  We will have special show and tell days, where children will be allowed to bring something in to share.

 

Jewelry- Please do not send your child wearing any type of jewelry, including teething necklaces. No jewelry is allowed to be worn at any time. This is a state wide rule for all child care.
