Holidays: We have parties for most holidays. The party dates can be found in the monthly newsletter. Parties typically include: special themed games/activities, special art projects, dance parties, etc. I typically ask parents to try and send their child in holiday colored clothes for that day (like pastels for Easter, or red & green for Christmas). Our parties are all about having extra fun, so feel free to be festive! On Halloween we will have a costume party, for everyone to show their costume off.

You are always welcome to provide treat bags. Please send age appropriate trinkets/toys, instead of sweets. Suggestions: chalk, crayons, rubber ducks, small stuffed animals, coloring/activity books, bubbles

 

Special Days: Throughout the year we will have special non-holiday related days, with extra special activities. Things like: show & tell, pajama day, silly sock day, etc. The kids love to have these special days! The dates of these days will be in the monthly newsletter. 

 

Scholastic Reading Club: As a center, we participate in Scholastic Reading Club. The way it works: I send out monthly fliers that advertise all the books for sale, if you decide you would like to order something, you can order online using our class code. Scholastic has an awesome online ordering program, as well as lots and lots more book options, as well as other great games and learning resources. You can search by key word, age, price, etc. You can also turn the order form in with cash or check, and I will send it in. The preschool gets points for each order to put towards new books and learning resources. Scholastic sends out coupons and other incentives for the school, the more we order.
